Thursday: Introduction to Soldier's Heart - define historical fiction - discuss differences between history and historical fiction - begin working on Vocabulary Frayer Model for novel foreward - dictionaries/thesauri needed
Friday: Finish Frayer Model - dictionaries/thesauri needed

We will be starting to read a novel entitled Soldier's Heart. These novels will not be allowed out of my room as we do not have enough for each person to have a copy. Any work that specifically deals with the novel, such as comprehension questions, will be completed in class.
